These terms govern all offers and agreements between Zafia and the consumer. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

We sell Afghan saffron (Super Negin) from Herat. Saffron is a natural product; slight variation in colour and aroma per harvest is normal and not a defect.

All prices on the website are in euros and include VAT. Shipping is shown at checkout. Payments are securely processed by Stripe (iDEAL, Bancontact, card).

We ship from the Netherlands to the Netherlands, the rest of the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and a selection of countries worldwide. Available destinations, rates and delivery times are shown at checkout.

You have 14 days to withdraw after delivery. Sealed saffron may be returned within that period — return shipping is at your expense. The right of withdrawal lapses if the seal has been broken, as saffron is a foodstuff that cannot be returned once opened (EU Consumer Rights Directive).

You are entitled to a product that conforms to the agreement. Send complaints within a reasonable period to hello@zafia.nl. We respond within 5 working days.

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. You may also use the EU ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
